Here is my back up sled, it is a well set up 09 800R 163 the engine is stock and so is the exhaust, There is over 6500 in aftermarket parts in it, but I know I'm forgetting some stuff, only 1500 miles on it, and it's better than new.
Whatta all think should I keep it? I like how light it is over my etec and the fact that it's mod friendy over my etec. It fired up 3rd pull after being stored since feb.

If your going to sell it, pull off as many mods as you can and replace with stock items. Either way you look at it, its an '09 and no matter what upgrades are on it, the sale price likely won't change more than $500.

I am keeping my '09, its getting replaced hopefully with a '12 (where it is I am not sure) My girlfriend will learn to ride more on the '09. Should next year a great new sled be released (or mid season this year) I can always turn around and sell the '09.

Its in great shape, a reliable back up, but will/could be sold more now than next year. Plus with just 1500miles, its still reasonable, vs putting on another 500-700 miles and people be weary of the higher mileage on the 800r. (not that there is anything wrong with that, but we know how a bad reputation follows it around)

clean sled though!
