The all new Gen-4 850 is the most powerful and effortless sled Ski-Doo has ever released. We are very excited to do what we do best, increasing performance and making this most capable sled even more enjoyable. Coupled with our Double Walled Design which greatly decreases under the hood heat and also reduces harmful engine harmonics. HPS has proven their designs with supplying two decades of lightweight and durable snowmobile silencers. The New Platinum Lite Ceramic is a rich metallic finish rated for 2200 degrees and twice as durable as our previous polished coating.
Features:

  • 7.2 lbs (-9 lbs weight reduction from stock)
  • Over +5 HP increase in the mid range (7200 RPM) and +3 HP on the top end (7950 Peak RPM)
  • Dyno tuned and field tested for best performance and durability
  • Platinum Lite Ceramic Coating rated at 2200 degrees
  • Bracket holes are pressed rounded for maximum life of rubber cushions
  • Webbed mounting brackets for maximum strength and weight reduction
  • D shaped bung for securing temperature probe
  • CNC mandrel bent inlet tube to fit stock heat shield (not necessary with platinum coating)
NOTE: All results are tested at complete break in and stock parameters
(Passes SAE J-2567 sound test approved below 88 dbs 4000 RPM)

First can on a dyno proven to actually increase HP.

That would be hilarious delivering garlic shrimp on a sled to the Wrangler cabin. Lol

Funny you say that...tried getting some food delievered to the Rider game here in Regina on Friday night but they wouldn't deliver to the stadium...

Just picked up 3 of them from the denver show, awesome guys to deal with, have ran hps for years, never had a problem! Installs easily and not overly loud! Similar sounding to the 800etec with hps!

Has anyone ran one on the 850 and had issues with snow piling in the bottom? There is a big gap around the bottom outlet and belly pan.

Nice looking product. Heard some discussion about some cans not being compatible with the shot system. Because of the heat. Any thoughts .?

If a can doesn't cause an issue with belt drives and other wiring then i can't see shot being affected.

Cant see there being a problem after install! Lots of space between the shot and the can!
