how to install boost bottle

Hi, just wondering if u have to take out the plastic piece before your carbs, because obviously you cant leave it in or youll get plastic in your carbs. it looks like a real pain to take it out. If u know how to install a boost bottle on a 01 800 polaris rmk, please let me know

Don't know about your polaris, but when I did my RMK a few years back I just stuffed the nozzle from the vacuum cleaner in there to catch all the plastic while I was cutting the holes out. :d



Edit: Hmmmmm, now that I think about this.....it might not be a great idea to be sucking gas fumes into a vacuum cleaner! Maybe I just got lucky!

its not that bad removing everythn. ur best bet is to pull the boots off and do it. if u get a peice if plastic or rubber in ur engine and costs u a motor job, was it really worth it in the end? my
