What software will best allow you to pause a video - capture the paused image to a still photo? Is this possible?

Roxio works well and so does Nero. I think maybe even the windows movie maker will also do it for you. Just search the options. Good Luck

yeah movie maker works. just pause it where you want it and find the "take picture" button to the right and below the video screen.
