does anyone use the kits at all, i have a 2010 rmk 800 and am hesitent before i start poking holes in my panels, which is the best brand to use and do they help?

I had the Polaris front tower vents, plus the set by your knees to let out clutch and exhaust heat. They were pretty decent, but have gone to Holz on the new sled. I like the full aluminum coverage and they do come with a screen backing that you can add.
