2011 HIGH MOUNTAIN ATV ASSOCIATION 17TH ANNUAL JAMBOREE
Monday, July 18 through Saturday, July 23
High Mountain ATV Association, Inc.
Monday thru Friday The Jamboree sports a week long schedule of hosted trail rides with 4-5 rides to choose from each day, Monday through Friday. Rides are set up according to three levels of difficulty and are rated as either easy, moderate or advanced. The difficulty level is determined primarily by the type of terrain encountered. Factors considered include: steepness, roughness, obstacles, snow and distance.
Monday Night at the Wallace Elks is all you can eat Spaghetti dinner for $6.00
Tuesday New this year....Obstacle course
Wednesday’s activities include an evening parade through Wallace followed by a pizza social with fun & games. Pop and beer are included. This year's parade theme is "Christmas In July".
Thursday ATV Safety Course. A MadMan ride will be held again this year and is optional. Lots of energy and stamina are required to complete this rigorous day-long ride. The MadMan event costs an additional $25.00 and includes a special MadMan T-shirt.
Friday Night Potluck BBQ at Gene Day Park in Osburn, meat, buns and pop provided by High Mountain ATV 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday The ATV rodeo, including four events Drag Racing, Barrel Racing, Mud Bog, and, back again this year is an ATV sled pull
Friday and Saturday mornings. Two all-you-can-eat pancake, egg and sausage breakfasts are included on Friday and Saturday mornings. The breakfasts are put on by our local Search and Rescue Department.
Saturday The six day Jamboree culminates on Saturday evening with our ever popular BBQ steak dinner banquet, awards presentation and raffles. Rodeo trophies will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of all ATV classes & events, a drawing will be held for those who purchased raffle tickets. Numerous raffle prizes are donated by our event sponsors and area businesses. Regular Raffle Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and may be purchased any time before the regular raffle begins.
As the final event for the jamboree, a Special Raffle will be conducted.
Special Raffle Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and may be purchased anytime before the special raffle begins. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase these tickets!
