i just put L.E.D in mine, needed something better, my kid has put in 3-4 renditions of H.I.D and nothing but grief, his last set of projectors were probably best but still lots of burnt bulbs.
Is recommend getting a light bar instead, I just got a 20" for $200.00. The nice thing about going with a light bar is when you turn it off you have regular low beams and no one flashed you with their lights.

I was looking at those LED conversion kits that go into your high beams. They really appeal to me for the instant on. But the kid at the Lordco in Revy was actually honest and told me they don't penetrate through weather well, and don't have the long range like the HID's.How do you like the led's?
HID's are made for a projector housing, so take that for what it's worth. BTW, perhaps your headlights are not aimed properly? My wife's 2011 F150 with stock headlights are very bright, some of the best OEM headlamps made IMHO...hey there thinking of putting some hid lights in my truck, what do i need to have in my truck for these to work and will they still go from high beam to low beam thanks what kinda do yous recommend thanks
the LED's in my fogs are significantly brighter than the average high beam headlight.

And so many fawking idiots insist on leaving them on while meeting traffic. I would like to take a hammer and smash out every set I see where they have illegal HID or LED bulbs in them.
No doubt, not sure if they know just how bright they are to oncoming traffic. LED is a good option but still in its infancy, stick with some aftermarket projos (can get them on eBay for cheap, not the best option but you won't blind anyone) and MAKE SURE you use a relay. Most people that pop bulbs don't have them on a relay and a lot of vehicles don't have enough juice to fire up both bulbs on startup giving them the one eyed bandit effect even though there is nothing wrong with their bulbs or ballasts. And stick with 4300-4500K bulbs, anything higher is a waste as they are bluer and the human eye has a hard time with blue at nightWhy is it necessary to have fog lights on in broad daylight when it's not foggy ?
