Just thought I would introduce myself. After renting a couple times a year for a few years, I finally picked up an '08 Summit 800 - 154". What a year to buy one - we have had a ton of snow around Sundre where I live. Heading out to Golden for a couple days soon, so should be good.
Also big into riding out west of Sundre, either on one of my Yamaha WRs or the Rhino. Nice to live close to riding areas, and most weekends in the summer you can find me and the fam out there in the toy hauler. Raced offroad this year for the first time - the Porcupine Hills XC, a hare scramble in Rocky, and the McLean Creek Hare Scramble. Got my butt kicked but had a great time and looking forward to racing next year. Always looking for people to ride with, so if you are out this way drop me a line.
Just waiting on the studs for my bike so I can try some winter riding too, although that may take a backseat to sledding - what with the new machine sitting out front.
Have been lurking for awhile and have learned a lot that helped me out. Look forward to participating.
