Just wondering how many of us have the Mini sleds for the kids? There has to be a lot of us? I have three Z120's and 3 boys. Winter with out the little sleds would kind of be missing something. Watchin the little guys rip around every weekend in the yard and the subdivision is kind of heart warming, awesome to see the little brats enjoying the outdoors in the midst of the winter months. I love it!

Share your enthusiasm! (pitures or stories). After all it is the future of our sport, or a big part of it anyhow.

HEY RON? Maybe you could add a "MINI Sled" Forum/Topic to this great site??? Just a thought?
I Always enjoy checking out this site! The best Alberta based Sled / ATV site there is!

Hey Scotty,

How old are your boys, or how long till they outgrow those little sleds? I am thinking of picking one up for my 5yr old daughter.

I've got two of the little beasts. The kids have a gas, my youngest is four and my oldest is 6, I think they will be good until they are 7 or 8 depending on size. I double my 4 year old and pull a sled with my 6 year old on the back behind them. So far nothing has blown up on them.

I don't have any picks yet but just picked up a 120 Polaris for my 5&7 yr old girls to try. The wife and I have been doubling them...time for them to rip thier own weight!

Tekim, Your 5 year old will enjoy a few years for sure... especially if she can ride with other minis! That's kind of the key, the more sleds together the longer they play.

All my boys started riding them at 3 - 4 years old. I bought the first one in 2000 (a 2001 z120) and Zac was 4 at the time I beleive. The other two boys both started at 3.

All sled are de govern'd and run at about double the speed / power that they are stock (a must) as stock speeds are about 7-8 mph?
My oldest is 11 now and could have started on a medium sized sled a couple of years ago... the 120 is too small now but he and his friends pull each other around on toboggans and still have a blast. My 7 year old still loves to tear it up. My 4 year old rides non stop even in -20

Great investment for sure.. you'll probably still get $2000.00 for it 3 - 4 years from now if you pick one up.

heres a story from when i was a little gaffer i was one month old and my dad had called my mom saying that he wanted to buy me a aritic cat kitty kat. but of course my mom pulled the thing saying i was only a month old and couldn't hold my head up so my dad never bought it. But 18 years later he gets his hands on one and he proudly displays it in his forklift shop.

I personally think they are a great investment..First time out watching the kids play, you realize they are worth every cent. 2nd,3rd,4th,....100th time out, you start to realize ...they really need a bigger fuel tank, so Dad can relax for at least 2 hours between fills! And like Scotty says, you'll probably get back $2000 or more when your ready to sell it, probably less that a few bucks a ride. I found 2 on Dootalk for sale down in the states one for $950 and the other one for $1500.

Summitron... You are right, I know the drill... jump on the quad with the jerry can and fill the sleds every few hours! They could use a bigger fuel tank!

Also, I have had many offers to buy the sleds from neighbours over the last few years, never a problem to get rid of them when the kids out grow them.

Last year i bought my son a new t120 polaris dragon , he had a blast on it i think iwas a great investment as well as a good thing for myself and him to spend some quality time together , next to quadding, but the lil guy put so much weight on this summer that i think i need to sell it and move him to a bigger sled , must be the fresh air i think ,
