Hey started up my sled tonight and noticed that there was oil coming out of the where the y pipe and pipe meet, the oil was carrying all the way down and coming out of the can as well, it was just in for service at don's so not too sure whats going on. Its a 2011 m8

yeah i did, but i talked to glen in mcbride said its common these and just need to pull the pipe off, clean it off and put some silicone on each end and let er sit

Mine does this any time I remove the pipe. After a short ride, the pipe seems to seat itself again and stops blowing oil everywhere. Never tried the silicone but maybe I will next time.

i agree with glen on the silicone seems they can work fine for days or minutes with out leaking..the silcone does the trick for sure.. easy fix...

ive tried all types of silicone but it just ends up burning up so i left it for a couple of rides and it sealed its self up
