Hey guys and gals. I'm looking for some helpful input. I have an aluminum sled deck that i bought used and it's legs are for a 5'7 box. I have a 6.5 (i think) megacab box and the deck is about 8" away from the front of my box. the rear legs of the deck are hitting the wheel wells and can't slide anymore forward. So my question is...Can someone cut the back legs/brace and re fab new ones? or am i better of selling this deck and getting the proper fitting one. I did steal this deck...very good price so i think it's worth some work. Any input from a welders eyes would be great....looking for someone in the Edmonton area...thanks in advance:) IMG_7625.jpg IMG_7624.jpg

If you're going to customize it, look at adapting it to fit in your DSP hitch rails. slide right in with a couple pins and technically be bolted to the truck frame.

that would be a good idea, but i also don't want to lose any storage space under the deck. I was using trun buckles but the kept coming loose down bumpy roads... what would you use to tie into the rails?

Neilsleder I also need to employ your services. My ramp is in need of some love. I may have for that my scratchers were down as I attempted to load up at the end of the day and did a small number on the ramp. Would love to have it fixed up again. Et me know if this is possible.

It’s crazy how hard scratchers hang on lol, been there before. Shoot me a pm with some pictures and we can go from there!
