I have a Mud Pro Just picked it up about maybe a month ago, now I have had minimal problems with it, this one takes the cake. The other problems were "ware and tear".

So.

I was stuck real good tonight and needed to get my winch out to save me, I hooked it up and started to get myself out I was in low gear and had the dif lock on, then all of a sudden I heard a loud POP and I'm out. I get off the bike and look under neath and notice the turning rods are bent and that was that.. at the time.

I turn around cause I'm far from home and I have a feeling this isn't good, instead of taking the trails home I decide to stick to the road I notice the steering is real loose, probably because of the bent steering rod/s I get off the bike and look under it again, and notice the front axle on both sides in blown right apart at both outer boots so I had to drive it very slow all the way home took about 10 mins.

Excuse me if my "terms" are not 100%.

What I'm wondering is if this will be covered under the warranty cause as far as I'm concerned I didn't do anything wrong that I know of. I really don't want this to fall under ware and tear... I've put enough money into this 4wheeler already and I haven't owned it for more than 250miles.

Here are some pictures that I took of the problems. The first one is a the bent steering rod, the second is the blown axle, and the third I can't explain its the rear axle inner boot seems off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the little Kitty cat has some weak spots, your dealer should warranty this problem it's hard to say. Some dealers are real stickler's and will say it's not warranty do to the fact that you may have punctured a hole in the boots causing the failure and thats for them or you to prove who's at fault. On the other hand some dealer's replace and nothing said. The question is how was the bike handling before you went through the last hole you got stuck in is it possible you got it hung up on something and when you winched it out it bent your steering rods and tore your boots and broke your cv joint.
Good luck :d:d
