So I got a Drift HD 170 Stealth Action Camera for christmas !!!! Yeyyyyyyy !!!! Now trying to figure out how to use the darn thing. Anybody else have one..................pointers pointers pointers please !!!!!! I did manage to get the battery and camera card installed and charge the thing ha ha ha...............reading the manual isn't much fun!!!

haha thats the american way! Do it yourself and when all else fails THEN read the manual. Sorry sunshine I cant help ya, I have the Contour. You sure got a nice camera there, I just didnt want to spend the dough for a drift when I bought mine. Hope you enjoy it and we will be looking for footage from it!

YouTube is the way. Or google it and you'll probably Get a instructional link to a YouTube vid.

there isn't much in the manual but it does say to go to there website which i did and there are down loads there on how to operate it. just play with it like i did, and it's pretty easy to figure out. but their website is useful.

When i stated mountain riding, my buddy, "The Dog" have that dam camera in my face all the time. Was going to make a very large suppository out of it for him. THEN.... We took the girls for dinner one night and he showed up with enlargements and some VERY cool actions shots. WOW. It takes time, but it is
soooo worth the effort. When we ride now, he has 2 or 3 camera's ont he go. We have wonderfull memories and when the annual CD show up, it is way to cool.

Sorry to get off topic, but figuire it out and you will have some really cool stuff to enjoy for years to come!

I wanted one really bad after summer. A buddy of ours showed us a video he took this summer and wow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was certainly impressed !!!! He put a song to it and everything. Good thing I have a 12 year old that will probably be able to help me out!!!!

I have the Contour HD and I love it. I have made videos now for a few years, I make some copies and once a winter I invite our riding friends over to watch. I also do the photoslide shows and have added music. It is a great way, and fairly cheap way to keep busy over the long winter months making this stuff.

I can't wait to do the same !!!! We have met some awesome new people to ride with from here and I would love to do a good video for them to share with friends and family !!!
