Hell's Half Acre

Sold our quads a few years ago and we're looking to pick up a side by side in the next few months and get back into it. I have read about the issues with Hell's Half Acre, but can't find any up to date information. Last I heard the area was barricaded so that only quads and sleds can get in. Did they widen the access at all for side by sides?
I was looking to access on township 540 as we have a piece of land nearby.
Any insight would be appreciated.

We had a club ride there about three weeks ago. There were at least 6 side by sides with us - no problem.
