Heavy Trailer Endorsement BC

same in sask but no one follows it. so many massive 5th wheels rolling around. farmers are exempt tho haha




So looking into transport regulations I came across anyone with a BC driver's license towing a trailer more than 4600kg in BC requires a heavy trailer endorsement. So how many people here actually have that to tow their large trailers (towhaulers etc.)?

never really gave it much though as I hold an Alberta Class 1 drivers licence.
Me too. I don't need it as I am in Alberta and with a class 1 I am good to go everywhere. Interesting to know though.

I know a few people that are getting there's. When I had a trailer it wasn't needed as I have a class 1. Never heard of anyone being checked but I imagine if there was some sort of insurance claim the question might come up. Not sure how it affects out of province drivers
