Head lights when trying to start?

When you pull your sled over do your head lights flicker on, my sled has nothing when i pull it over in the dark. Maybe my stator is hooped

mine barley do. but my dads dirt bike only went on when it was started. posobly your voltometer is hooped. check it before you replace it.

Well it turned out to be lots and lots of black crap in the spark plug caps, i had to take several q-tips soaked in acetone to get all this chit out. I bet i am not the only ski-doo 800 motor with this problem. It just would not start, after the cleaning it fired right up.
