Head gasket in a 2010 dodge diesel

So I had to do the gasket in my 2010 dodge and they had to take 5 thousand off the head is that normal , and I did get the arp head studs this time

5 thousands of an inch is not that bad to get the head flat. I have read of many that were warped worse than that.

Is your truck stock? How many kms were on it when it blew the head gasket?

Now that you have repaired it you should be good for quite awhile unless you run some aggressive tuning and beat on it.

It's got 129000 km ran hard all it's life lol turbo back exhaust , cold air intake , egr delete , h&s mini max few other goodies

I think I was slightly less than that to deck the head on my 08, but I only ever ran the 60hp tune. Just too much heavy towing through the mountains.
