Ok, reading new posts and Unforgiven comes on Spike...gotta go, saw it a 100 times but a classic is a classic.

I remember when it was filmed in Longview AB. One of my favorite areas for fishing. I grew up fishing all along the highwood, so to watch that movie gives me warm fuzzies.

Yeah it is one of the tops in my list. It was Filmed on the EP ranch just south of Longview, went to school with the owners daughter, and the parties at the shack Gene Hackman was trying to build were great. Since then the ranch has been sold so not sure if the shack still stands or not. There use to be a restaurant here called the Memories Inn open only on weekends, but the place was filling with stuff from that movie.
