Gopro video "blinking"

So when I hook up my my gopro helmet cam [not hd] to my tv to watch a video the video blinks. It is almost like the picture goes light then dark, then light, you get the idea. I thought maybe low batts caused this but I installed new lithium batts and tried recording again and still the same thing. It does this erratically when you are watching the vid and not all the time. Any ideas?

i would suggest that you get a new card aswell like they suggest... i find with mine it still flickers once in a while but not as bad

it is a sd hc i beleive but they tell you that on there web site ... np skinny

Mine is total junk. Gopro should refund everyone who has a non hd unit.
The interface is horrible, the datestamp is 1961which you can't change, and now mine won't even turn on. Good thing I only paid 100$ for it.
The update lets you take an 8GB card, Mine wirked for one weekend, then it just won't turn on. Just blinks a couple of times. I tried everything on the net.

you should try phoning the tech's i bet it just needs to be reset... i am sure they will walk you though the steps you need... and it should take any size card but will stop recording after 4 gigs ... just need to start recording again

my go pro doesnt flash but when my other cameras flash it is the change in bright lighting with the wrong settings. but i suppose the go pros dont really have settings to change.

the update fixes the change in light .... the flicker... i still don't think i fixes it but it better then before
