Going fishing at Dore lake SK. Anyone have some advice on which lures to use and how heavy of a line or wheres the good spots are.

I have fished Dore Lake for years. The northern pike likes shiny spoon lures like a Len Thompson (red/white, yellow with diamonds, Orange/Black), Daredevils, etc... The fishing this year has been very good with lots of lunkers being taken. As far as what area of the lake to fish, I'd ask at the resort you are staying at. There are 3 different resort areas on the lake with good fishing areas close to each. Have a great time at Dore! You will love it there!
