who makes the best goggles that don't fog up

i got 509's that have been awsome so far. buddy says the same thing. got a sweet pair off ebay for $50. my cousin uses SPY and they seem to fog up once in awhile.

We sell the Habervision Eliminator. It is a little module that fits into your goggles. Within the module is a humidity sensor and a fan. When the sensor senses the humidity rising to a certain level the fan kicks in creating air flow which keeps your goggles fog free. The air is then vented out the top of your goggle. The Eliminator fits in 98% of the goggles on the market today. Habervision also has their own line of goggles that come in both polarized and non-polarized lenses. Habervision and Oakley. Both really good brands, however the Habervision goggles I have found do not fit in with my HJC and Ski Doo helmets with the nose/mouth piece in as nice. Try before you buy to make sure that you do not waste your money. If you take the mouthpiece out they all have good tight seal.

509's here to, they are GREAT. Still use a breath deflector, but no matter what I have absolutely no fog. And they are so comfortable. Also one of the few companies who don't screw you shipping to Canada.

I have a pair of Skidoo goggles, Bole, and Spy. I wear glasses. If I take out the nose piece and the under chin deflector, I am generally fine. I don't wear a balaclava and I don't ride when it is cold (one of the reasons for moving to BC). I don't have to ride when it is cold but if I doo then I have other tricks to keep the goggles clear.

I also have quick straps. The secret is to take the goggles off as soon as you are stopped. If you take off your helmet put the goggles inside the helmet so snow doesn't get on the inside of the lens. When you put on the googles they will tend to fog because they are colder than your face but that is only for a short while. The goggles don't fog and neither doo the glasses.

On Black Friday I ordered a pair of 509's Sinster with the extra polarizing lens and I am looking forward to using them.

I read a lot about Zeal goggles but they seem to be hard to find in Canada. Might take a chance and order some online. They're supposed to be really good in poor light and really good at not fogging up. The model you want are called detonator ppx.

Habervision has an Ouzo goggle which is their over the glasses goggle. Here is a pic:



It comes both with a flash and without a flash.

The other option that Habervision has is an optical insert. It basically looks like a glasses frame that you take to your optician to be fitted with your prescription. It has a telescoping center post that allows you to fit it into various widths of goggles.

Bought some Zeal goggles at the snowmobile show the SPPX polarized photochromatic they really do enhance your vision really clear darken or lighten to conditions ,self activating , wish they would lighten up more on overcast skys,only had them on one weekend seem great,did'nt fog but pricey. zealoptics.com

I just got my 2 sets of habervision Prima's with eliminators. I will post some results after our first ride!!!! Very sweet looking goggle, blue flash and polarized. The eliminator looks pretty cool as well. I tried it out on auto mode and it kicked in with some hot breath blowing on it, seems like it will be a great feature as I seem to fog constantly. Make sure if you go with the eliminator to start out riding with it set to auto. This will let it clean the fog with less work rather than turning it on once you have fogged. Just so you know the eliminator from habervision can fit most popular goggles on the market today, so if you have your favorite goggles you can snap in the eliminator for cheap....

Sorry for my ignorance but what is a flash lens vs a non flash lens?

The flash is what gives it the "mirror" like finish on the outside. It also makes the lens a bit darker. Haber has 2 basic flashes available in their goggles a rainbow flash which looks kinda blue mirror on the outside or carbon which has the grey look on the outside.
