im thinkin of getting the lcd sceen. and i go on a canoe trip that we go down rapids and reel in some 20 lb pikes so im getting a chest mount, i want to get a tie on float, not the float back as i will have the lcd screen installed.

i used the vented helmet mount and mounted it to my visor, took an unreal video.

200$ for the camera 300$ for the camera and basic mounts... i got mine for like 600$ with pretty much everything.. i bought mine 1 month before the second one came out

I like to take an extra battery with me. Nice to have if you leave it on all day. A 32 gig card will also last you many hours of recording.

You might want to look at some editor programs.

Other than that pick up a grab bag of mounts and get creative. Learn what settings work best for you. I know only use 720 wide as there is no point in going to 1080 and 960 is 4:3 aspect.

Just make sure u try it around the house to get know the settings the video wont b that great ,with low light .But it will save some time when u get out on the trails.
