There is global warming, that's what melted the 1/2 mile thick ice, There is just no "man made global warming"! The new research is saying that if anything the warming has slowed in the last 60+ years.

I don't really keep up to snuff on this topic, but is the glacier actually still melting slowly? I wonder if its going to get warmer and warmer, than get really cold to help rebuild the glacier = tons of snow?

You are exactly correct,the "global warming" rehtoric wasnt quite living uo to the hype so a new ambigious term was coined to incite the masses to open their wallets for the cause.
