contact cleaner in the female end and just keep plugging and unplugging it and it should get cleaned enough. Then once its cleaned and working, refer to the "dielectric grease????" thread:beer:

Good luck

You can use a set of tweezers, or buy the tweezers with the abrasive tips for electrical connections. I have a set from MAC that I have to pick up from the truck yet,.. but I am sure some narrow tip regular ones would also work. Then throw some dielectric grease in the plug.

contact cleaner or a mixture of baking soda and water. spray it on and brush a bit if possible with a toothbrush or something, use the wifes or kids, make sure not to use your own. then like everyone said lots of dielectric grease.

I've seen this before... The green is caused by a rare case of Kawasakithomia. Sorry to tell you, your quad thinks its a Brute Force.

Symptoms include following Kawasaki's, even to mud holes they normally wouldn't try, thoughts of V-twin, and everything is seen in shades of green.

So far there is only one cure....
