We will be having a GEO CACHE at the SnowandMud Campout on Saturday morning.
This event is FREE
9:00 - 10:00 -> Register, get into your group, then you can head out, the GeoCache will take about 1 - 2 1/2 Hours to complete.
We suggest you group into teams, with each team will elect a captian. Then you will pick out of a bucket your order of GPS Cache Locations, then your off on your way.
When your finished all three then you can continue quadding for the day and dont have to return your chips to us by 6 PM Max. That will give us time to compile the scores. Each bucket will have chips in them, remove one colored poker chip and put in your ziplock bag. The chips will have a number on them but the number will be cross referenced through a computer program with an actual number. So you wont know what numbers you had.
Each GPS Cache Location will be off the trail, there will be a bucket with a orange flag on a pole. The chips will be located in the buckets.
This way people can come and play the cache for prizes and then keep quadding for the day and enjoy the area.
We do want to know roughly how many people will be involved in this though. Please check the poll so we roughly have an idea.
