Gas Stations running out of Fuel

I have been noticing around Calgary, that the smaller stations like "Gas Plus" and the ma & pa stations are out of reg & mid grade. They say they have premium and diesel, but when those run out....... Then what???
Or would the bigger manufacturers have a large supply and nothing to be concerned about, other then them spiking the prices...
Anywhere else experiencing this?

They just said on the news that Petro Canada announced that the shortage is coming to an end. Should be getting back to normal right away.

We have ran out over the last month here in bc trashy. Started in the okanagan and worked it self around to the koots. All stations ran dry for a few days, the price went up to $1.24 and supply's are back....mmmmm

So how did everything still work? I mean there must have been a few people with days off, seeing how they didn't gas up

Think it was only a petro can issue with shell,Esso fallowing. Not all were out in the okanagan. Here everyone went down for two-three days but a private supplier keeper us going at the bulk plant. Not sure about the average joe but a few days off would be nice. Makes one think what would happen if we ran dry....mad max comes to mind. Fuel controls us all!

Local petro ran out of premium a week ago. Then prices went to 128.9 and a tanker showed up. Still 128.9!

I was at suncor refinery today and they're main equipment is broke down. Also I think esso is in the middle of a turnaround

My brother in-law had trouble finding premium for our dirt bikes on the weekend. It took him 3 stations in sherwood park to finally find some.
