What we used on all of our rentals last season was the ones that artic cat sells themselves in there accesory catalog. They worked very well.

Personally, I use a Mountain Addiction kit with two cans. i really like the setup and haven't had a problem with it. However, if I were to do it again, I would go with the Doo gas can setup... Make sure it's for the XP though (The rev ones require the seat to hold it down).

Mountain Addiction has an awsome set up; plus different gas cans and other stuff you can slide on to the rails. I like mine and the guys are good to deal with as well.

My hubby has a doo can setup on his 2010 M8 162. It looks sweet. Also has the option of adding another can too, there's lot of room on the tunnel.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's pretty bad when the Cat dealership here sells them and installs them on their M sleds!! That pretty well tells you how awesome they are! Ran those cans on my 08 M8 and my hubby's 10 M8 all last season and we didn't have any trouble with the cans at all. Only trouble is.....on a good days ride you can sure burn up that can in a hurry. I think we are going to install another track on our tunnels so we can carry two cans if we need to. I got some pics I can dig up if you're interested in what they look like. :)

Here's the pics of the Doo can on my hubby's 2010 M8 SnoPro 162". Keep in mind if you have a 153" the tunnel might be a little shorter in length, but it fits well on my 153" M8 just fine. There is still room to get into the seat and it doesn't effect throwing around the sled at all. I like the low profile of the can too!!;)

I know, doesn't that can look sweet? I took the avy course last year here in town with Zacs (Lori & Randy Zacaruk) I'm always trying to promote the course whenever I can....it was awesome, learned so much and how unsafe we used to ride before. (Scary thought!!) They are putting on a course on Halloween here in town, check out their website, and maybe give Lori a call directly. I know Lori will be here for the sled show tomorrow. Maybe you could sign up then? And yes.....we're itching for snow. It won't be long now!!;)
