I did a rock delete this weekend,
Thinking of bypassing the front cooler and just run it to the rear cooler.

I have a rear snow flap, and scratchers, so I think cooling should not be an issue, or will it?

I wanted to try it but I chickened out. I did the same rock delete, I asked this question and I got mixed replys. It was less than $400 to fix so I put it back in.

this is a tough one. the front cooler is very important because in low snow conditions even if the track is wet it is the only cooler that is receiving any cooling. once your in any sort of snow you wont have any issues whatsoever.

i would say give it a shot. its not ireversible if it doesnt work. and there are alot of us that want to know :D haha.

as long as your flap is a good length and the scratchers i cant see it being super problematic unless you hit an icy long trail.

the full length tunnel cooler still has more surface area than say the old rev front and rear coolers combined.

but in reality its only the last foot or so that is actually used. the rest is just like a radiator but not a good one since its covered by the tank.
