Frogskinz or???

Getting way too much snow under the hood of my freeride this year. What have guys been doing? Are the frogskinz kits worth it? Or is there a better method. The belt side is not bad. Mostly on the exhaust side.

I put them on the front and top of my xp last year and they work great so I guess I would say yes they are worth it.

Frogskin works well for me. For the 70 bucks well worth it.

I bought the frogskinz front end kit, but am hesitant to put it on. If you hold the vents right up to your mouth and breath through it, the air flows freely. But, if you hold them 2-3 inches away and blow on them, very little air passes through. I'm worried they're actually going to cause more underhood heat.

I think if it passes through close to your mouth it should allow air to pass through all the time, now the amount of air passing through it would be the question as it probably restricts air flow, which it should, as it is a type of barrier. Ya it could be possible to restrict enough to increase the temp under the hood, I have not noticed any increase in engine temp since I put mine on tho.

ya, if you hold a lighter behind it and blow on the vent a few inches from your mouth, the flame barely flickers. I think I'm going to put the one on the grill on the very front and the one for the small holes on the nose, but, leave the other ones off for some airflow.

I put them on my rev and really noticed a difference with the clutch side, the clutches didn't seem to get as warm as before and the amount of belt dust really decreased. Only real downside is there strength, they don't take to tree branches to well.

Black zip ties with Black metal mesh screen. Cheap & easy to replace.
