free camping and quadding near whitecourt and fox creek

I was wondering if anyone knows a good area near whitecourt and fox creek to free camp and quad..... we have a little guy that has juststarted quadding and would like to find a place with a bit of a large flat area near or in the campsite for him to putter around. Thanks in advance.
