Yes, last I heard there was no sledding on the glacier. If you know otherwise, then please post. If you are riding in a closed area, please discontinue, especially if you know better (seem to remember a thread about reporting other sledders somewhere on this forum a little while ago......). Seeing as how restriction signs are posted and all, unles you didn't see them....

yes i agree TAKE YOUR GARBAGE OUT... we went to the cabin (quarts creek) late sat night and we were all blown away at the trash that was left.. chips, beer cans, 40 lbs'ers, pepsi/coke bottles. the place was a mess. i guess these idiots do not know it weighs more full then empty.

Any idea of why not? They just bought a new groomer last year (mid 2000's Bombi) or the year before I thought?

I was out there this weekend. the groomer's parked next to the trail so I assume they'll be using it.

I do know the groomer was vandalized this fall!

I am assuming they will continue, a bunch of work was done on the trail after the fuel cache to allow the groomer to go to the cabin.

Still not much snow....

rumor has it that Forestry is ticked off about all the sled tracks up on the Glaciers & will shut down the grooming unless the club can "police" the Glaciers.
I thought I read somewhere on here that some brain surgeon said that riding out of bounds will not harm our riding areas!!!!!??????

this is true. I do know the recreation dude( i heard it straight from him) gave the club an option to police and educate riders of the closures.

I am not sure what the club decided, I know the rec dude said one guy from the club was ok with the option the other said no way????
