Hey guys :)

Just got my first sled (2010 Rev XP) and thought I would poke my head up and say hi :d

Look forward to learning the ropes and hopefully being able to contribute.

Thanks!

I will be riding with a goroup of guys that have I have been friends with for over a decade. They have been begging me to get a sled for about 6 of those Haha. Finally broke down, and saw the light.

I think our first trip is Nov 25-28th in Revy (Edit: Just looked at my other comp and it is McBride). I have my sched on my other computer right now. I think this was meant to be. It snowed the day I went and paid for my sled :)

And good to hear your dont harp on Ski-Donts much ;)

wow my first sled was a tnt 340:d nice if you need to know stuff let me know

Many thanks for the offer! I will keep it in mind. I guess I can shoot one question out there right now. I started a thread about it in the general section with no replies, so maybe I had it in the wrong spot.

Lots of the guys in our pack have HD helmet cams, but often the video is out of context as doesn't capture the size comparison of landscape to rider. A dedicated DV handycam that can capture 1080p and have enough zoom would be a fortune and would break for sure. Was thinking of getting a magnesium body Nikon and use my telephoto lens to capture HD video. How, what do you guys use??

Thanks again for the encouragement and warm welcome :)

we use helmet cams good for sledding and underwater but only get about 45 mins on batteries but just make sure plastic housing is spotless or it looks all grainy . and yes it dosent really give the true sense off what you are climbing

cheers
