The last time this green comet was seen was 50,000 years ago, cave man days! should be viewable around the 2nd of February, by eye. can be seen now and till it passes with binoculars or a telescope, it is 26 million miles away! not to be seen for another 50,000 yrs. might be something for your kids to see?
i think we have one member who may have been a wee young lad, the last time it went by?
A green comet that takes about 50,000 years to complete its orbit around the sun will come closest to Earth for the first time since the Stone Age
The comet will be visible in late January and early February. Here's how to watch it, why it's green, and why it may never return.

At the start of 2023, Earth will be visited by a newly discovered comet that may be bright enough to be seen with the naked eye.
