February snow conditions

Does anyone have an update on how the lower sections of the trail to Renshaw is holding up ?

My wife and I were planning on riding today til Friday. Unfortunately I caught pneumonia so had to cancel.

Renshaw got 6" of new snow yesterday, trail being groomed tonight (Tuesday), Hotrod told me the snow is good at Belle and Lucielle but both hills have seen some riders so not sure if they're tracked up or not!!

UPDATE Tuesday February 2nd,

just got off the phone with groomer Rod.

Renshaw got about 6" of snow Sunday night not sure yet how much last night.
Also Rod will be grooming the Renshaw Trail today.
Belle had about 4" of snow last night the Trail was groomed Saturday night and is in real good shape.
Lucille was groomed last night.
Rod also mentioned that there is some slippery sections between the Renshaw parking lot and the collecting shack so please be careful!

The avalanche rating is considerable but we urge you to check the avalanche canada website for more details.

Please ride safe and watch out for one another!!!

UPDATE Wednesday February 3rd

Renshaw Trail was groomed last night, Rod said it cooled down right after he was done grooming which means it will be nice and smooth....
Be aware that there is still a few slippery sections on the Trail!
Lucille Trail was groomed Monday and is still mint.
Belle was done last Sunday and is also in good shape.

We had some snow in the beginning of the week and I could see snow clouds in the Renshaw Range from down here yesterday and talking to Rod there was a few inches last night.

The Avalanche rating is considerable for more information please visit Avalanche Canada.

We still have accommodation available for this weekend!! February 4,5,6,7th so if you are interested please call us at 1-250-569-0351

just back off belle for another SAR. couple guys had to overnite but got them this am. trail up was in super shape and found 10 inches off the beaten trail so to speak. nice up top.

I'm intrigued to know how someone had to overnight at belle? Any info? Or is it something that can't be shared on the web?

Glad to hear those guys got off the mountain ok. Wouldn't mind hearing what happened though so we can all learn from the incident and hopefully prevent it in the future.
