These pics are of the Selkirk, Monashee, and Cariboo mountain ranges. The ranges are the same one's we ride in Revelstoke, Valemount and McBride.

We have seen alot of sluffing and sliding the last 3 weekends in Revy. My advice would be to stay away from hills with terrain traps. :nono: There is still alot of good riding so be safe.

You look at the third picture above on the avalanche page and you can see sled tracks on top of the ridge. Could you imagine having to come down if you are on top after the avalanche. It opens your eyes. I saw an avalanche last weekend in an area I would never have expected one to happen, but started by a sled cutting the hill. And then we go past avalanche alley in Allan Creek and am surprised that it has not slid recently as well.
