where is a good place to get parts for a '03 F-350, i took my truck in for a OPI and they gave me a list of chit i need

stabilizer shock
2 front sway bar bushings to frame & 2 links as well
both upper and lower ball joints.

then i godda take the truck in to a ford dealer to get the one air bag to work.
AND THE BAS****S even nailed me for not having my back up sensors hooked up!!!!!!!!!!!

get him to show you that on paper somewhere...I'll tell ya what...I know the owners of the Ford dealership here in town and I'm gonna call them for you tommorow. I've got a F-350 with those sensors and mine don't work wither so now you've got my curiosity up...there is even a by pass switch on the dash...I'll check into it and let you know tommorow...anyone else ever here of this BS? To me thats like saying that because it came with a radio ...that its a must for it to work? Run that by him...thats how stupid it sounds to me...don't get me wrong...I'm on your side...I think this dude is trying to get easy $$$$ out of you...tell him to show you that in print or drop it !

I got that hard core inspection a couple of years ago to big mistake- all depends on the shop. He clearly stated that he would NOT pass anything that did not work as if it did not roll off the showroom floor. At the time there was also a 70 cuda in there that had aftermarket air installed being removed so it could pass inspection. I was so frustrated with the whole process I almost lost it.

PS 1 of my failures was that my seatbelt did not retract fast enough. I wish you the best of luck. This OPI is a crock, designed by some douche behind a desk who does not know the first thing about real life. I am all for a safe vehicle but when some guy blows by me in some hunk of ch!t that smokes like hell and I am sidelined for a slow retracting seatbelt or tires that are more than 2/64" wear difference. The system is failing.

no chit, like with my one mirror, it doesnt work AND it has a crack in it, they never said anything, so i would be more concerned about a mirror that doesnt function and has a crack in it then a fuggin backup sensor!!!!!!!

it is stupid, now that you say that i'm going to ask. but he also said they cant do anyhting about it so i would have to go to the ford dealer to get it hooked bck up

PS that would be awesme if you could do that, i'm just as curious to see what they say....

well i got them to scrap the sensor idea, but also the 2 front head lights are lose, a clip on each light is missing, so i might just get some epoxy and make them solid again, just so it passes inspection
