Was just gonna go and out and get the Beaumont to go and support MS with attending the local Cruisin the Dub and was I glad I waited it out. The heavens opened up and we got hail like for a solid 5 minutes. It was tear'n the leaves off the tree's and poundin down. Gutters couldn't keep up even....wifes truck took a beating but I don't think we got any dents....would have killed me to see my car getting pelted....not that her truck is less important...LOL. According to Global Edmonton....we have extreme weather hitting us from now until tommorow. Hail as as big as big marbles....sounded like a train comming through the house! Batten down the hatches!

I think you guys are suppose to get it worse than us....we never got no warning...it just hit so if there's anything outside you value I'd suggest hiding it under a tree or put it in a shop!

Everything is outside  no shop or garage here yet. :(

The way the trees are rocking, I just moved the trucks away from them. Which is the worst decision now???

Nothing here yet... but it sure cooled off so we might have missed the line of severe storms...we got wind and a downpour earlier but nothing really to speak of....looks like east of edmonton is gonna get nailed...

We left home depot at 8:30 waiting in line to get out of parking lot and the odd pea size hail failing and big wind then all of a sudden "BANG" a giant slush ball the size of a baseball hit the hood I puddenear shat me drawers was worried more big ones. I was close to pulling into the carwash to wait it out but made it home ok.

Ill post some pics from aug-16-2010 here in morinville, had some golfball hail mainly large marble size, destroyed the gazeebo tarp and wrecked the north siding of our house and shingles.
