European mounting

Hey well i think im going to pull last years buck out of the freezer and boil the skull never done this before does any one have some pointers they would likt to share?

In them hills.
Hang it in the bush for a bit....let the birds do most of the work.
Then put a jug of bleach in a 45 gallon drum, peals the rest of the gunk off and really whitens it up.

P.S don't leave it in the bleach to long.

i was just going to boil the chit out of it then bleach it

Ya we just let the birds get to ours. We had a couple with the antlers still on. But bleach should do a pretty good job..

No pics sorry, never did mount them, they are just hanging in the barn at the farm.

Up north, a way up north at Sachs Harbour, the Inuit used to put the skulls in the ocean and the sea lice would clean them off. Didn't take long either....

I realize being in Edmanton it is hard to get to the ocean but thought it would be a good read enyways!
