Bought a new enclosed trailer 22' got quoted 1800-2200 to line x the floor...wow... The last trailer I did the 2 part garage epoxy and stood up well.... what are guys going with these days? was maybe thinking seal the floor and lay some kind of poly floor down....

Also what is a good way to undercoat the trailer?

I think most people are going with rubber coin flooring in sled trailers...the best thing to do on the underside is closed cell spray foam insulation:beer::beer:

Just did mine and used a 2 part system. Clovagrip from Cloverdale. If I remember right I think it was about $400.00 and is Grey in color. Good and tough and real grippy when the floor is snow covered. I put the superglides over top for the sleds.

I had the same problem ??? Line-X or Paint ?????? My last trailer I just used "Porch and Garage" paint, I guess it's supost to be tougher (more durable) than regular paint. I put grit between coats for traction and has stood up very well with no problems !!!
I was told on floors you want one side to "breath" ?? So if you paint or Line-X the floor you shouldn't under coat the trailer it as it might trap moisture and rot the plywood ??? I don't know if that is true or not ????
Is it a good idea to paint the new floors (plywoods) that are moisture resistant ?? I like to do something to the floors so oil, gas, etc. does smell up the trailer if you spill OR stain the floor ?? And what kind of prep is needed to paint these kind of floors ???

You have a Charmac right? I think I seen some pictures of you doing the floor somewhere....if you have a few more of the floor email them to me please.. pschwengler@shaw.ca
The clovagrip like garage floor epoxy or better

Yeh, I have a Charmac also. Attached are pics of the floor. We use a fair bit of Industrial paint and my supplier told me that Clovagrip is used on the decks of Aircraft carriers. Take that for what it is worth!! I wasn`t going to spend 3G`s on the floor doing the Linex thing. Not sure if it`s better than garage floor epoxy, never worked with it before. So far so good though.
