Electric Starter Removal

I bought an 09 XP163 with electic start and would like to remove it. The obvious things are the starter, ring gear, solenoid and battery. I was wondering if anyone knew if any electrical mods have to be made to run batteryless? Is the reverse/starter switch on the handlebar the same on all XPs with the electric start just activated on estart models?

I'll also have it for sale if anyone is interested.

I just put in electric start. There is one complete harness that unplugs in your case. 3 Bolts and a ground to remove the starter. I believe 4 bolts and the battery comes out. Now if you r looking to resell this kit there is a bracket that the starter goes through behind the clutch that needs to be removed for the new owner. That is the worst part of the job. the screws r really tough to get to. If you need instructions i can get u some for the install that just works backwards.

I would definately appreciate the instructions if you have them. The motor is coming out anyhow so removing the bracket shouldn't be too bad.
