How much wieght does electric start add to the sled. Just curious need to settle a bet.

just so you kno this forum is for the 2010 and up, All models - Pro-Ride chassis, which is clearly stated riiiiiight where you click to enter this forum, lol so really is not just the "pro rmk", it could be for a few different sleds.... try and do some thinking before you post a stupid comment

No actually it would be for the 2011-2012 pro ride chassis. The 2010 rmk was a IQ chassis. Unless your talking about that funny looking rush thing.

Actually a rush 600 was that year and was the start of the pro ride chassis so yes pro ride chassis starts in 2010. Good night!

My BF put electric start in his pro and the dealer here said it was less then 5 lbs.... but I don't have any other info other then what he told us.

We actually put the box on a scale then weighed a clutch without a ring gear on because you get a new clutch with kit. It was total of 12 pounds.

Can anyone seriously tell when they have 8 gallons of fuel in their sled versus 6, just by the feel of it? The weight of the e-start kit is just over the weight of 2 gallons of gas. Food for thought...

I don't have e-start on my Pro, but my next one definitely will.

I have electric start on my assault and I can tell you, you won't ever notice it.. Plus when we ride we have prolly 20 pounds worth of food and beer and gear lol

i could have five electric starts a full tank of fuel back back full of food and i would still be lighter than my old 900
