Well lesson learned. Ordered directly from EarthX batteries and paid for it. My own fault for not looking into more before ordering. Went on Canadian page (I thought) but was USD then ended up getting hammered with duties too. Ended up costing me 575$ for a battery 🤦‍♂️

Where do you guys get your earthX batteries in Canada and what do you pay for them ?

Wow that’s crazy, I had an earth x in a couple sleds but this was probably 10 years ago, I thought they were insane then at $240. I purchased them locally at a sled shop here. I know a couple cat dealers used to stock them in Edmonton as well. Always went on sale in the spring. A quick search shows some motorcycle shops sell them online for $450 ish

Yep me too last year, the biggest rip off is ups. They charge huge brokerage fees for customs. phuk those guys, I always check who the supplier ships with now. If it's ups I won't buy.

Buy Noco Lithium batteries . Way cheaper and work well , I have bin running them for two years and zero issues . They might be a bit heavier and bulkier then earth x . but at 200 bucks . There boost packs are also realy good .

I run the magna sport lithium battery or the NOCO lithium in my sleds.

Magnasport is lighter than the NOCO, order it through my local battery shop, NOCO you can buy at Princess Auto.... good buy when they come on sale.

I don't really see what makes the EarthX batteries any better than these now.. they used to be the only ones making them. Not so much anymore.
