We are heading out this weekend for 10 days in some of the worlds best powder and could use a little help. We are starting out in Sicamous (spelling?) and riding Eagles Pass on Saturday and Sunday, then off to ride Hunters Range, Trout Lake and Finally Revelstoke. We have never been into Eagles Pass and have heard great things about the area. Can anyone suggest areas to head for from the cabin (is there a cabin ? ) how long is the trail in......is it groomed ? we are all experienced riders with all the gear and will have GPS and Sat Phone along. Have heard it is a large area and any help with where not to go or a destination up there worth heading for would be greatly appreciated.

10 Days straight..............................CAN'T WAIT !

There is no cabin at Eagles, it is groomed and you can check the sledsicamous.com website for the dates of last grooming. The groomed trail ends at the gas drop area where there will be a trail heading around to the right. This will take your around and through a burnt out area the gets you into the alpine. There is another way to the alpine to the left up through the trees and up but it is hard to explain. Eagles is a very nice area but I wouldn't recommend it for new riders.

Thanks for all the info guys. Just to be clear we are not New to mountain riding just this area. So just looking for some pointers from those that know the area well we usually ride Mcbride and Valemount.
