The Duvernay Coogar Patch area is a great area to ride with some nice scenery see my pics in the gallery. To find more on the area go to the trail maps section. You have to be a member on this forum to view pics and the trail maps.

I have been to this area many times. It is across the North Sask. River from my cabin. Quadding is great and when they have snow , sledding is even better. The people of Two Hills should be proud, they have worked hard on this area and it shows. Food at the Duvernay Bar is surprisingly good. See you on the trails.

I actually live in Duvernay, and the cougar patch has some GREAT trails for sledding OR quadding. There's a few cabins along the way, and if you're sledding you can do a roundabout of the duvernay side (south side of the river) on the way east, and come back on the Brosseau side (north side). You can make an entire day trip out of it! Also, just going sledding this year I noticed they cleaned up the trails ALOT, and fully restocked all the cabins with more firewood. Plus when you get back, you can grab a bite to eat at the Duvernay Bar (great food, especially the pizza and wings), and if you're going in the spring or summer you can go to Watson's General Store in Brosseau (just across the river) to get ice-cream for dessert. There's usually alotta variety, so no worries there. Overall, it makes for a great day, and I'd suggest you at least give it a try.
