I am trying to get some info on this d&r what all dose it do. I have a 03 rev and want to put a 2in paddle on it and i was going to just put 8 tooth anti rachit drive gear on it. any ideas?

Just go to the 8 tooths, D&R will move the driveshaft back and get a better approach angle but you're not gaining much on the rev and they are a big job to do. See my thread here - https://www.snowandmud.com/forum/f14/low-budget-back-up-sled-build-17530.html

I am doing one on a 03 MountainCat, it's a big job. For me though I am going to a 2 1/4" Extreme and need the clearance. I just pulled the engine out I hope it works good for me. Heard good things about it with the cat's. Not sure about doo's

I have a RT1000 renegade had a 1.75" no more room for a bigger track.

Went to a 9 tooth from 10 tooth and put a 2.5" Track fit great.

Note, lost top end about 15km, after gear up on tooth on top chain gear.
BUT hold on goes like hell.
