Noticed a couple of my lugs starting to tear ... wondering if I should bother asking my dealer for a new track under warranty or if tracks are a "Wear and tear" item and bumper to bumper doesn't actually cover them

i don't abuse my sled on rocks and gravel and my dealer knows it... is it worth a try ?

I know they were warranting damaged tracks fr broken t motion linkages so maybe but look at the fine warranty print it says exactly what is a wear item.

I looked at my book ... the warranty section just has a generic "wear and tear" not covered clause .. doesn't actually say what is or what isn't wear and tear

Somewhere there is......I've seen it can't remember where lol I think there was separate warranty documentation that wasn't in the manual.

Usually what I have seen is they will cover delamination of lugs but not tears. Worth a try though. The dealer will take a pic and send it to warranty and they will decide. Better than the old way where they cut the damaged portion and serial number out in one piece and it was luck of the draw. Lol.
