Does CE 2.5 on assault need drop n roll???

Has anybody done this track swap without d&r? Was there much power loss? will different drivers solve the clearance issues instead of doing the drop n roll? Any input would be great

it can be done but tunnel clearance at the front is very very tight. A smaller tooth driver will help free up some room.
