What the measurements are for the mounting holes for the skid on an 04 Summit?I am putting a 144x2 Summit skid on an 05 Renegade that had a 136" originally. There is a bracket that has 3 places to bolt the rear part of the skid. The 136" was in the first hole and so I figured that a 10" longer skid and track should probably mount a couple inches back from where the 136 mounted. The 144 skid didn't seem to line up with any place in particular..Any one have the specs on that dimension? (distance from front mounting hole to rear mounting hole)What difference would it make if I went to a shorter or longer distance between holes?

I ended up bolting the 144 Summit skid in the same holes as the 136 Renegade skid. Seems that must be wrong.

There is very little suspension travel on the back now and the rear springs stick out of the lower spring support slider by about 1-1/2 inches.

When I grab the rear handle and pull up the little triangular steel stopper hits the cross piece after only about 2" of lift. Rear suspension travel from when lifted at the rear to where the stopper hits to when I stand on the sled is only 4".

Did a quick online search and found info that I should have moved the front mounting point from the original location to one that is down and back - there is another location for a mount hole on the reinforcement plate on the inside of the tunnel. This is apparently for the Summit skid so thats the front resolved. I'm sure the back mount must move as well.

Does anyone know where the rear mount goes?

To complete this thread in case anyone else tries this (nothing like searching for answers and finding a dead end thread...)

Ended up drilling out the lower holes for the front mount and then the center of the 3 holes on the rear mount. Everything fits and works fine now except it seems the wheels that are on the front outside of the skid are the wrong size - they are 145mm and looks like they should be 139mm. Not sure if that is a big problem or not.
Guy that sold me the skid must have mixed up some parts when he put it together.
