i ordered a digatron with the clamp on sensors.

however i want the weldons. on my other sled i just had the bungs welded onto the ypipe. but my other digatron came with screw on sensors.

do i have to swap the sensors for ones that will work with weldons or is there a way to put the nut on the clamp on sensors?

Sorry to thread jack, but how far should they be? I was told 6" from piston wall, but on AAEN's site they say 2" from the pipe joint. This is on twin with single pipe

Its technically measured from the exhaust side of the piston skirt. Relatively speaking that is;)

I thought that would give too hot of a reading? why does AAEN say that it should be in the pipe?

it is mounted in the pipe but its measured 3 or 6 inches into the pipe from the piston skirt.;)

but on a single pipe, that will put it at the manifold to pipe connection in most cases??? My 670x with twins, has them 6" away from the piston skirt...... My singles would be at that connection?

I use the koso egt's and i wish i had some single pics to show you guys. But koso even sends a diagram for mounting the sensors and it specifically states on a single pipe application 3" from the piston skirt to sensor is desierable and on a twin pipe application 6" is desireable. Keep in mind these are rough measurements and will not always put the sensor in a useable location. Sometimes you need to be a bit creative.:d;)
