just wondering what if any are the differences between a yamaha moto4 and a timberwolf? both quads seem simmilar enough just wondering the logistics of it cant find anthing online so here I ask.

i believe a moto 4 were 2wd and 200 cc usually they were baby blue,:cool: i think late 80 and early 90 and the timberwolf are 2wd drive but a 250 cc

The early 80's to mid 80's moto4's were 225cc and a 250cc came out in the mid 80's to 1989 or 1990. Both were 2wd. The Timberwolf became the newer version of the moto4. Dad owned a couple when I was a shoulder high trouble maker..:d
Oh and they came in yamaha blue or yamaha yellow

225 Moto4 came out in '85 and were yellow. Change the color to blue in '86 and were buit for the 86 and 87 MY. 250 Timberwolf replaced the Moto4 in '88 I believe.

Okay my years were a little off, but hey I was only 10 when we got the first moto4. It saw a lot of hard miles every weekend.
